Services of an international association of organisations composed of accreditation and accepted bodies, associations and entities, namely, providing education and training to accreditation bodies to harmonise and provide for the consistent application of conformity assessment activities to international standards, providing for the harmonisation and consistency of standards in order to benefit public health, safety, and welfare, and to facilitate domestic and international trade and the providing of conferences and special working groups where information, relating to accreditation, can be exchanged and criteria for consensus guidelines can be established and administered.
