The computer package is used as a business tool in early years settings; such as day nurseries, early years classes, nursery schools and pre schools, to help them comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage; EYFS, which is part of The National Curriculum. The software assists staff to record children's assessments and their progress, and helps plan for their future achievements in their development and learning. It evaluates children's progress in relation to chronological age and/or curriculum requirements, and identifies areas where extra support or modifications to teaching and/or resources are required. It assists in monitoring standards of overall curriculum delivery within the setting, staff performance, and potential training requirements for the team and possibly individuals. Furthermore, it is a communication tool for all those involved with each child and future educational establishments.
