Causeway GeoSolar is a hybrid geothermal and solar thermal system which captures and stores peak summer solar thermal energy in a geothermal "reservoir" for recovery and use in the winter peak heating demand. The solar thermal collector(s) could be solar thermal panels or solar photovoltaic thermal panels or buildings like glasshouses. The geothermal "reservoir" can be a closed loop Borehole Thermal Energy Store or an open loop Aquifer Thermal Energy Store.
